How to convert to jpg

Turn PNG, WEBP, TIFF, GIF, SVG, HEIC, PSD and camera RAW files into ordinary JPGs that open anywhere. Transparency is flattened onto a colour you choose, and CMYK images are converted to sRGB so the colours come out right rather than inverted.

  1. 1Add your imagesDrop them anywhere on this page, paste with Ctrl+V, or use the picker. Mixed formats in one batch are fine.
  2. 2Set quality and backgroundThe default suits photographs. Pick the colour that should replace transparent areas — JPEG cannot keep them.
  3. 3Convert and downloadOne image comes back on its own; several come back as a ZIP. A file we cannot decode is reported without stopping the rest.

Frequently asked questions

Can you convert iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. HEIC and HEIF files are decoded at full resolution and come back as ordinary JPGs that open on any device, including older Windows machines.
What happens to transparent areas?
JPEG has no transparency at all, so every see-through pixel has to become a solid colour. We use white by default and you can pick any other.
Why do my CMYK images sometimes look wrong elsewhere?
CMYK is a print colour space, and converting it carelessly produces a photographic negative. We convert to sRGB properly, so what you see is what was there.
Are camera RAW files supported?
CR2, NEF, ARW, DNG, ORF and RW2 are decoded with the camera white balance applied. Photoshop PSD files are flattened to their composite image.
